Conventional Coating Pans

    O'Hara coating pans are used for a variety of industries, including the pharmaceutical and confectionary industries.  They are made of 316L Stainless Steel, with a sanitary design.  Units are available in single or multiple pan arrangements with various capacities and options.  Two kinds of pans are available - metal spun, pear shaped or welded with anti-slide ribs

Standard Features include:

  • Made of 316L SS, #4 Finish, polish ground smooth, inside & out
  • Drive - 208, 220, 400, 460, 575V, 50 or 60 cycle gear reducer, and T.E.F.C. motor
  • Speed - standard fixed 10 to 30 RPM

Labcoat I, II-X, III

    O'Hara's Labcoat I, II-X, III Tablet Coating Systems are extremely versatile and come with interchangeable drums.  A quick disconnect standard feature allows drums to be changed in minutes, without tools.  Front and side doors facilitate easy access.  A self-contained air handling system is also built into the units.  Labcoat System available in pan sizes from 1.6L to 116L.

Production Fluid Bed Dryer/Granulator

    O'Hara's FBDG (Fluid Bed Dryer & Granulator) delivers a reliable and uniformly mixed dried product, without the necessity for pre-mixing.  The FBDG series continues O'Hara's tradition of process efficiency, energy efficiency, rapid product change, and simplified maintenance through the philosophy of practical design innovation.  FBDG series working capacity ranges from 5kg to 800kg. 

    The machine can serve three distinct operations, each designed to suit the processing demands of different products:

  1. Produces dry granulation from a wet powder mix
  2. Produces dry granulation from a dry powder through the addition of a liquid binding agent spray which is then evaporated
  3. Wurster column coating available

Tray Drying Ovens

    O'Hara's tray drying ovens are ideal for the drying of wet powders or drying/curing tablets.  With a variety of options available for all sizes, O'hara provides one of the most cost-effective, energy efficient solutions on the market
