Tablet Processing Accessories

    3-Way Discharge - efficient 3 way discharge with pneumatic flap; System allows automatic preset time in HMI for tablets start up, sampling, and shutdown rejection (not available for NIK CLASSIC or MINITAB)

    Table De-Duster & Dust Collector - based on tablets moving on a slight gradient spiral mesh;  fine dust gets exhausted and collected into the dust collector.  Tablet press is also connected to dust collector to exhaust all extra powder

    Powder Loading System - Auto Powder Loading is available if the total distance does not exceed 5 meters from the tablet press and 4 meters in height;  may be equipped with venturi system or a blower;  Auto hopper eve sensor would automatically sense low level and start the vacuum loading system.  IBC loading system may also be used

    Metal Detection Unit - Very High Metal Detection Sensitivity; PLC Digital Control and Signal Processing; Dual Channel Phase Sensitive Detection

    Dies & Punches are available in any shape and size;  some options include:

Blenders

    Nicomac can supply the best blender for any type of product and any type of process.  All Nicomac blenders can be easily integrated into the process line.  Dry blending of free uniform flowing powders/granules to achieve homogeneity with the shortest process time and easy cleaning.  All systems are safe, have variable speed for precise control, and uniform, gentle mixing.  IBC Blender is the most efficient and best method of handling,  blending, and transferring any less than 3000L batch powder product.  The products are blended by continuously rotating the bin.  The cage blender has a powered clamping cage which assures the operator safety.  Different inclinations can be set for asymmetric flow of powder or granules in the bin during tumbling.

Pneumatic Conveying System

    Pneumatic conveying systems provides for the vacuum transport of powders, granules and other free flowing solids in a gentle, safe, closed system. Characteristics of the system include:

• Sequential time based air blasted filter cleaning system

• Washable filter, and provisions for reduced cleaning changeover time

• Silencer at suction and discharge port for reduced noise levels

WIP/CIP Modular Skid

    A Universal Modular Skid is available from Nicomac, designed to clean efficiently and rapidly all machinery and components in the granulation line.  Stainless Steel framework on wheels including: connection clamps, piping, sanitary valves, filters, high sanitary pressure pump, heated tank for purified water, detergent and emptying pump.  Includes a drying unit.  Two motorized washing arms with 4-way direction orbital washing nozzles are fitted inside all granulation machinery to guarantee perfect cleaning.  PLC control of the system with up to 20 different washing recipes.

Characteristics:

• Movable unit w/patented OCTOPUS flange - movable flange to be fitted with an easy and fast operation, by means of suction cups, to different coating pan and equipment - tightening resistant to 90 bars

• Purified water tank

• Automatic motion of HION nozzle arm (High Impact Orbital Nozzle)
