VacuShear

It’s innovation at its best. Powdered materials present a unique challenge because there’s always a need to eliminate significant dust formation that can contaminate products and the surrounding environment. A&B Process Systems, along with Admix, has met this unique challenge with a vacuum liquid processing system that is efficient, reduces the risk of contamination, improve workplace safety, and reduce lost dollars with reduced powder loss. That’s the shear beauty of VacuShear®.  VacuShear offers:
  • Customization – designed to ensure maximum efficiency for the mixing process
  • Cost-effective - decreases incidence of unused powder
  • Improved Safety and Purity - create ergonomic and efficient link between the conveying and mixing operations by designing
    • processor that is a combination of the mixing tank, vacuum pumps, powder feeders, hoppers and dumping stations
    • waist-high or ground level vacuum feed stations that reduce back strain and climbing accidents and eliminate paper and plastic scraps from contaminating the batch
  • Dust-free Environment - introduce powders, solids, semi-solids or liquids via vacuum system directly into sealed mixing tank
    • hands-free conveyance of material
    • incorporated through high shear mixing of Admix, Rotosolver®
  • Elimination of aeration, foaming, dusting – places powders, solids, semi-solids or liquids directly at the mixing head and below the surface of the liquid
  • CIP integration – CIP-integrated design option
  • Low maintenance – eliminate high maintenance with
    • top entry, high shear Rotosolver that is without bottom bearings or seals
    • no complicated orientation of drive and mixer at the tank outlet
  • Factory acceptance testing - systems are tested in our state-of-the-art Test Center
  • Trial testing – certain systems are eligible for trial testing at our site prior to purchase; contact A&B for further information
Unused powder equates to lost dollars. Contact us for a demonstration that will illustrate the VacuShear® difference. We make every granule count.
